UKC GRCH Clayborn’s Silverton

We had to retire Ronan this year sadly, after he developed a septic abdomen from what we believe originated as a prostatic abscess.

UKC CH Clayborn Sunera Almond Roca

We are terribly sad to have lost Roca from our breeding program. She was retired after developing a life threatening uterine infection after being bred. She will remain at Sunera.

Tangaloor All About Soul - Sparrow

Sparrow has been retired to a loving home with Ember in Louisiana.

UKC GRCH Clayborn’s Aruba “Ruby”

Our beautiful Aruba was retired from breeding and showing this year, after she had her 1 and only litter. She has retired with family in Colorado.

Sunera Clayborn Inca has been retired to her loving home in California.

Clayborn’s Bearded Mountaineer has been retired to a loving family in Oregon.

We were absolutely devastated having to retire our beautiful girl “Ember”, Attaway-Kinobi Rumba at Sunera at 2 years of age. Ember finished her field championship and then failed her cardiac OFA echo. Ember had intermittent ventricular pre-mature contractions. We were not able to find an underlying cause to the arrhythmia, but it was necessary to pull her from our program to limit propagation of this condition. Ember has been retired to a beautiful home in Louisiana, where she shares her life with two loving veterinarians and another silken windhound from our Vera x Apache litter. This is a reminder of why rigorous health testing is so important to maintain the health of the breed. We loved this girl, and she would have had beautiful puppies, but unfortunately for us, it wasn’t meant to be.

UKC CH Kristull Dressage “Eevie”"

Our Sweet Eevie left us too soon. She was tragically killed in August of 2019 when she was hit by a car after she slipped out the door. We miss her every single day. She serves as a reminder, that you can never be too careful and as always… a leash is a lifeline.
